Meet Liz
Liz Volpe is an entrepreneur, education innovator and speaker committed to building a more future-ready world for the next generation.
For more than two decades, Liz has built businesses, scaled communities and created initiatives that challenge outdated thinking and help people see what is possible.
Today, she is the founder of Tomorrow, a future-focused education movement creating new pathways for young people to build confidence, curiosity and the real-world capability needed to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
Liz’s work in education is grounded in lived experience, not theory.
In 2015, she founded Project Gen Z after a life-changing trip to Cambodia. What began as entrepreneurship workshops for disadvantaged young people grew into a recognised social enterprise reaching more than 200,000 young people across five countries. Through programs, events and real-world learning experiences, Project Gen Z helped young people think bigger, build confidence and create opportunities for themselves and their communities.
The work also raised more than $650,000 for Sunrise Cambodia and supported young people to launch their own businesses through initiatives including the Dare to Dream Entrepreneur Challenge.
Liz is also the co-founder of the League of Extraordinary Women, a global community of more than 120,000 female entrepreneurs. Through the League, she has helped build one of Australia’s most recognisable communities for women in business, amplifying founder stories, creating powerful events and supporting women to grow businesses with confidence.
Earlier in her career, Liz founded Zest Possibilities, where she built a 100-person sales team across Australia and New Zealand and helped raise more than $150 million for charities locally and internationally. While the numbers mattered, the deeper lesson was in building a culture people wanted to belong to — one built on purpose, loyalty, energy and possibility.
Liz has also served on the boards of StartUp Daily and Shoestring Media Group, and has spoken for organisations including Microsoft, The Entourage, RMIT and the G20 Young Entrepreneurs Summit.
As co-founder of Ambisie, Liz created the Generation Inspired documentaries, designed to spark bigger conversations about how we prepare young people for a world that is changing faster than traditional systems can keep up with.
Across every chapter of her career, one belief has remained constant:
Young people are capable of far more than we often give them credit for.
Tomorrow is the culmination of that belief.
Through Tomorrow and Tomorrow Hub, Liz is bringing together everything she has learned from working with young people, parents, educators, entrepreneurs and communities to help reimagine what learning can look like when it is connected to life, not just the classroom.
As a speaker, Liz brings a mix of entrepreneurial experience, movement-building insight and practical optimism to conversations about education, leadership, innovation and the future of work. Her style is direct, energising and grounded in one central question:
What becomes possible when we stop preparing people for the world we knew, and start preparing them for the world they are inheriting?
